It has been confirmed that Celtic’s Scottish Premiership match against Hearts on Wednesday evening will be broadcast live on pay per view [@CelticFC].

Ange Postecoglou’s side will take on the Jambos in back-to-back matches this week and supporters who cannot make it along to Celtic Park on Wednesday evening will be able to watch the game live.

As part of the new television deal that the SPFL signed with Sky Sports, it granted that clubs could broadcast up to 5 home league matches per season which the Hoops have taken advantage of.

There seems to be a big push from the club on this as it shall be Postecoglou’s 100th game in charge at Celtic.

Many who already have a subscription for Sky Sports will however still be left frustrated as this is yet another extra which they have to fork out on as no Scottish football will be broadcast this coming Wednesday. Saturday’s Scottish Cup at Tynecastle will be shown on Viaplay Sports – another subscription for fans.

Rangers trail Celtic by nine points and face a tough test against Hibs at Easter Road. This could be a night that is remembered for having a big impact in the title race which the Hoops will hope is in their favour.
