Karamoko Dembele will be a fully fledged member of the first team squad yesterday, Neil Lennon confirmed after the player grabbed a goal and an assist against Hibernian.
The player looks ready to take the next step in his career and looked comfortable playing against senior players. If he wasn’t getting past players he was drawing fouls with his quick feet. The winger is an exciting talent to say the least and his reputation in the game is growing.
However, when Dembele posted pictures of himself during the bounce game against Hibernian we had no idea who would reply. A raft of players including Karamoko’s brother replied to the post but if we’re paying Instagram top trumps, Barcelona star, Antoine Griezmann messaged the Celtic youngster. Given, it was just a couple of emoji’s but Griezmann is clearly aware of Karamoko and his talents.
The bhoy has the world at his feet but seems genuinely grounded as he makes his way to the Celtic first team. Expect to see a lot more of the midfielder next term.
