Sky Sports man, Anthony Joseph has confirmed a 24-year-old man has been arrested and charged over the disgusting comments aimed at Celtic players as they walked into Ibrox on January 2.
You will have all likely seen the video which showed more than one Gers fan spew bile at Celtic players before the Glasgow Derby. At the time, the police did nothing to stop them or even try to arrest them for their blatant sectarian abuse.
Now, one man will be prosecuted for the unsavoury incident but there’s surely more coming.
A 24-year-old man has been arrested & charged over alleged sectarian comments outside Ibrox, before Rangers v Celtic on Jan 2. Police Scotland continuing to investigate.
Two men, 26 & 22, were also charged over alleged misuse of fireworks & flares and anti-social behaviour.

Celtic expressed their disappointment in what happened and that their players were allowed to be subjected to such vile behaviour on the day.
There’s just no place for it and we would hope Rangers as a club will condemn this behaviour and put them through an education process.
We’ll keep in touch with this case and let you know any outcome.
