When you talk about Celtic youth stars, one player comes up above all else because we’ve been watching him develop for the past three years or so. Karamoko Dembele is at the forefront of Celtic fans thoughts when they hope to see the player take the leap from the youth system to the first team.

However, a new talent has emerged this season and he could be just as big as Karamoko Dembele given time and opportunity. Armstrong Oko-Flex has not been at the club for a full season yet but already he looks at home in the green and white. Turning down a scholarship with Arsenal to become a bhoy and go straight into our developmental side was a bold move for the player but it seems to be paying off.

Oko-Flex can’t stop scoring for the reserves at the age of 16 and has pace and skill to burn on the field. It’s natural we’ve all been distracted by what Dembele can bring to the table because we’ve seen so many clips of the player turning on the style.

Oko-Flex is young, hungry and he’s getting used to the sort of challenges anyone with real talent gets on a regular basis when you play up in Scotland – he picks himself up and dusts himself off.

He scored for the reserves on Monday again with a fine finish, following up from his winning goal at Rugby Park the week prior.

The former Arsenal trainee managed to get onto the bench for the first team at Rugby Park under Brendan Rodgers and he will hope the change in management doesn’t hamper his chances of making his first team debut this season.

Here are all the goals from Monday’s game with Oko-Flex scoring a cracker to make it four. Neil Lennon attended the reserve game against Dundee to see the team blast 6 past the dees.
