Patrick Roberts may no longer be a Celtic player but he was tuned in today from his new home in Spain as he watched the bhoys beat The Rangers at Celtic Park.

The winger posted an image of himself soaking up the sun in Girona with a Boston Celtic’s jersey on declaring it was a ‘Beautiful Sunday’.

We agree!

Roberts had a successful two and a half years at the club, landing three league trophies, being part of the invincible treble and of course the double treble.

He left with the fans best wishes this summer and is currently plying his trade in La Liga.

He would have enjoyed watching his former teammates get in about it and comprehensively outplay the Ibrox side.

Celtic won the game 1-0 but it was an inept display from their Glasgow rivals who came to Celtic Park to try and escape with a point. No luck.
