The focus is particularly on Daizen Maeda and Liam Scales, two key players who have faced recent fitness challenges.

Rodgers confirmed that there is no new progress on Daizen Maeda’s condition, affirming previous statements that the winger’s season is likely over due to his injury. This news doesn’t come as a surprise.

On a more positive note, Liam Scales has returned to the fold, a welcome development highlighted by his participation in training sessions at Lennoxtown. This return could provide a significant boost to Celtic’s defensive options heading into the crucial stages of the season.

Rodgers also noted that there are no new injuries within the squad, a rare stroke of good fortune for Celtic, who have dealt with numerous setbacks this season.

He said: [Celtic TV]

“Daizen is still out. We just have to see over the remainder of the weeks left to see if he plays any part, but certainly won’t be tomorrow. Lam scales back available in the squad, which is really good news for us. Yeah, and apart from that, we’re pretty much the same.”

With a nearly full-strength team available, Celtic are in a strong position to tackle the upcoming challenges in both domestic cup and league competitions.
