Chris Sutton believes his mate, Neil Lennon, left it too late to step down as Celtic boss.
The BT pundit believes the former hoops boss should have left after the Ross County defeat in the League cup back in November.

Sutton doesn’t say anything for the sake of it and especially when it comes to his friend.
He’s spot on though. The writing was on the wall back in November yet it’s taken until now for him to jump ship. Why did he choose this defeat to go, even after the county league cup defeat, we’ve suffered more and more damaging losses.
It’s strange it took until now when Celtic fans had resigned themselves to Neil staying for the rest of the season, just for him to suddenly walk.
Is it self preservation? Did he want to be clear of the dugout if our rivals win the league at Celtic Park?
