CELTIC are doing all they can to try and add to their squad before Friday’s transfer deadline but it’s worth keeping an eye on any potential outgoings.

There have been rumours and quotes from journalists over in France that Marseille are ready to make a play for Celtic star Moussa Dembele.

The French striker has been subject of intense speculation since the day he joined the club – such is his talent.

However, it would appear that some club’s in his homeland want to use the fact that the English Premier League can no longer get involved in transfers this window to make a play for the Celtic man.

If EPL clubs could get involved then a bidding war could price Marseille out of a move for the player.

Figures quoted this weekend suggested the French side would try and test Celtic’s resolve below the £20million mark.

If they do, they will most likely be told to politely move on by Celtic.

Elsewhere, it looks like Celtic may have reignited their interest in Brazillian Douglas Luiz. The Manchester City midfielder, 20, looks to be heading out on-loan before the end of the window and Rodgers is rumoured to fancy the player as Stuart Armstrong’s short-term replacement.

  1. Now if the player wants to move then fix it so he can if any player wants out then do it before the window shuts and bring in as much money as we can get him or them, so we can buy in new face or faces.
