Rangers have dismissed Michael Beale as of Sunday evening, with the Ibrox board declaring they’ve seen enough of his management style.
Steven Davis and Alex Rae will step in to assume command on a provisional basis, receiving support from Steven Smith, Brian Gilmour, and Colin Stewart.
In response to the news, Celtic legend Chris Sutton didn’t hesitate to express his opinions, labelling Beale a “comedian” on X. This sharp comment is in retaliation after Sutton himself was deemed the “worst ever” Chelsea player and a “comedy act” by the now-dismissed Rangers boss.
There are some managers that are comedy acts…

Beale clearly found the practical aspects of managing a team more challenging than anticipated. His ability to “talk the talk” was evident, but unfortunately, when it was time to “walk the walk,” his capabilities fell short.
It’ll be interesting to see who comes into Rangers in the coming weeks, but one thing is for sure, they’ll be back next season and will be going for 56 with Todd Cantwell dubbed as the best player in Scotland…
Yep So True Mr Beale was so Arrogant in his manner giving no respect to Any rival boss Bet Gio had a Smile on his face 2moro lol! C’mon the hoops!
