CELTIC has confirmed there will be a minute silence ahead of their Champions League tie this evening after the tragic events that unfolded in Indonesia.

The Bhoys are in Germany for Matchday three of the Champions League and will be up against RB Leipzig in the early evening kick off.

All games in the Champions League this week are paying their respects to the victims of the events of the Kanjuruhan Stadium.

It’s unfathomable that you go to a football game and don’t ever come home. The harrowing stories and death toll in Indonesia is hard to comprehend.

It’s absolutely right that football comes together to pay their respects.

The game kicks off at 5:45pm on Wednesday evening. Once the teams are out and on the centre circle, all players will take part in the silence.

Ange Postecoglou will be readying his men for another difficult away game in the competition. Beyond the minute silence, there’s a massive game to be played by both clubs who could really do with the three points.
