The Hoops got off to the perfect start in the game as Rocco Vata latched on to a loose ball in the box to smash the ball into the net on the volley within the first two minutes.

Celtic started the game off strongly on the front foot which Stephen McManus and Darren O’Dea will be delighted about as they knew they were in for another tough test.

The Hoops second goal was well deserved after such positive play with Letsosa following up to an effort from Ben Summers to double Celtic’s advantage.

Celtic have made it three having being given the chance to increase their lead from the penalty spot.

Adam Brooks looked certain to score before he hauled down by the RB Leipzig captained who was cautioned for the foul.

Brooks stepped up to take the spot kick he had won but had his effort tipped onto the post by the keeper to keep the score at 2-0.

This has been the B teams best 45 minutes so far in the UEFA Youth League. McManus and O’Dea will be delighted and be looking for much more of the same in the second half.
