The Celtic women’s side were drawn against Levante in the Champions League on Friday.
The first round of the Women’s Champions League consists of mini-tournaments.
Celtic are in a tournament with Levante, Minsk and Rosenborg. If the Ghirls can get past the Spanish side, they would take on either Minsk or Rosenborg in the final to determine who goes through to the second round.
These mini-tournaments will be held at one stadium per group and Celtic’s group will be played out in Norway, Trondheim to be exact.
✈️ And we are off to Trondheim! ??@RBKvinner will host our one-venue Group 3 mini tournament, where we face Levante in semi-final one on 18 August!

Celtic’s men’s team are never far away from a trip to Rosenborg. It’s why the Celtic Women’s account had asked the club for tips on local spots.
Fran Alonso and his team are making Celtic history with their participation in the Champions League. This is their first foray into the competition after securing second spot in the SWPL.
It’s a massive challenge for the ladies but they’ll be buzzing to get over there and play.
