CELTIC have announced today the team which will oversee the Celtic TV virtual season ticket and there are some familiar faces who will be on our screens in August.

Chris Sutton, John Hartson, Gordon Strachan, Michael Stewart and BT Sport’s Rory Hamilton on commentary will join Celtic’s current multimedia team who consists of Gerry McCulloch, Tom Boyd and Paul Cuiddihy.

The virtual season will be in play up until the full crowd is allowed back into the stadium.

There’s no date at present when Celtic supporters will be allowed back inside Paradise in large numbers so until then, the TV production side of things is stacked.

Celtic wrote on their official website:

“Our matchday line-up for the season ahead will include Chris Sutton, John Hartson, Gordon Strachan, Michael Stewart and BT Sport’s Rory Hamilton on commentary. These stars will join our existing Celtic TV presentation team and will feature across the season.”

No Daryl Currie in that lineup, maybe why the BT presenter found it easy to take a dig at Celtic last week when the fixture list came out.

The production should be good and hopefully Celtic will pull out the stops for supporters who are paying top dollar on their season ticket for this service.
