Celtic are sweating on the fitness of Christopher Jullien after the player was seen walking out of Celtic Park on crutches.

The Frenchman saved a certain goal off the line but injured himself in the process when he collided with the goal post.

It was the defender’s last action of the game and he had to be stretchered off and secured before he was taken down the tunnel.

The heavy contact with the post means even if it’s not a serious injury, there will be bruising and pain which will surely rule him out of the game at Ibrox in just here days time.

It’s a big blow for Celtic with Neil Lennon’s proffered back two, Christopher Jullien and Kristoffer Ajer. It means Shane Duffy could come back into the fold for the game.

Only time will tell but for the second time this season, Celtic are going into a Glasgow Derby with uncertainty surrounding a key player.
