Celtic fans appear to be organising a party in a familiar spot of town after the Hoops lift the SPFL trophy on Saturday afternoon. WhatsApp groups and social media is abuzz with fans saying they’ll be heading for a party.
The bhoys are scheduled to take on Aberdeen in the final game of the season and whatever the result, the bhoys will lift the title at the end of the game.
It’s a familiar ritual at the end of the season for Celtic fans.
However, something new in recent years has been the Glasgow takeovers where the support have congregated in the Trongate area of town to have a massive after-party.
The scenes in previous years have been incredible.
These scenes have usually been reserved for treble celebrations, so it’s surprising to hear people are planning for a Glasgow takeover on Saturday and not waiting to see if the bhoys and Ange will become treble champions before getting the pyro out.
Celtic have had an incredible season. Beating everybody before them. They beat The Rangers in the League Cup final, knocked them out of the Scottish Cup semi-final and ran a mock in the league. The Rangers have bragging rights though, we hear!
