Marcelo Saracchi’s future is still unclear after the end of his loan spell at Celtic.
The Uruguayan full-back joined the Hoops from Boca Juniors last summer and played his part in a season that ended with Celtic winning the Premiership and Scottish Cup.
He was not a nailed-on starter, but he gave Celtic another option down the left and had some good moments when he came into the team. His pace, work-rate and willingness to get forward helped him make an impression during the final weeks of the campaign.
Journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu has now claimed that Çorum FK are interested in Saracchi.

Saracchi’s loan deal did not include an easy option for Celtic to make the move permanent, so any deal would need to be agreed with Boca Juniors.
That makes things less simple. Celtic may have liked what Saracchi offered, but they still have to decide whether it makes sense to spend money on him this summer.
If Kieran Tierney is fit, he is the obvious first choice in that position, which means Saracchi would likely be viewed more as competition than a guaranteed starter.
For Saracchi, game time will also be important. He has experienced Celtic, won trophies and played in big games, but he may now have other options to consider.
As a newly promoted club, Çorum have rarely spent heavily in the transfer market. Their current record signing remains midfielder Ahmed Ildiz, who arrived for around £250,000 in January.
What it does show is that Saracchi’s future is not just a Celtic and Boca Juniors matter anymore. Other clubs are watching the situation as the summer window begins to move.
