Celtic were linked with a move for Livingston goalkeeper Liam Kelly after the Scottish goalkeeper had a great season with the Almondvale side.
At the time the link was reported there was a suggestion there was a clause in his contract which would allow him to move for relatively cheap but if we understand Livingston’s Statement this evening he’s already a free man!
Kelly has been attracting interest from down south with Livingston also mentioning this in their statement.
News today Craig Gordon could be looking for a way out of Celtic Park makes this a little more interesting. Could Kelly come into Celtic and challenge Scott Bain for number one it will the bhoys opt to convince Craig Gordon to stay until his contract runs out at the end of next season.
Bain has been Celtic’s number one since the start of 2019 and has done very well since taking over from Gordon.
