The transfer window might be closed but we could yet see another Celtic Park exit before the week is out.

According to the Dundee Courier, Celtic midfielder Ewan Henderson is wanted by Dundee in the Championship to help their push for promotion.

Championship rules mean Ewan can head out on loan to a club in the lower league outwith the current transfer window.

It doesn’t look as if the youngster is going to get any game time over the next four months so it would be a good idea for him to go out and get first team football.

I think it’s safe to say, Neil Lennon doesn’t rate Henderson the way Brendan Rodgers did near the end of his Celtic stint. Ewan was starting to come into the first team and perform well before Neil Lennon came in and demoted him to the reserves once again. Other loan moves haven’t worked out and a move to Dundee could be the making of Ewan.

The same report claim Dundee are waiting on Celtic’s final decision on the player, surely it’s a no-brainer at this point.
