Celtic Park is set to welcome a new hospitality suite in the North Stand, transforming a former media room into an exclusive area for fans to enjoy come next season.

Glasgow’s licensing board has approved Celtic’s application to sell alcohol from the fourth-floor space, marking a significant enhancement to the matchday offerings for supporters.

The suite, referred to as the LSV suite—short for light, sound, and visual—aims to repurpose what was once a bustling press room filled with media technology. [Glasgow Times]

With the press now relocated, the club has seized the opportunity to innovate the now-vacant space.

The suite would be able to accommodate 20 people, meaning it will be a small space, and most likely, premium prices to get access to.

Celtic have been making a few upgrades here and there in regards to their hospitality, and they’ll continue to do so over the summer with the new LSV suite.

  1. No interest to the average punter.

Does every “enhancement”involve raising yet more money from the fans?

    What about more stewards?

    Half-decent wifi?

Making sure we can actually hear what the guy with the mic is saying at half-time (actually it may be better not hearing him!).

Opening the Janefield St tunnel gates a bit earlier after the match, obviously there are crowd control issues but in some instances there is barely a soul left inside the stadium by the time the operators get the ok to open them.

Why doesnt the club actively seek the views of STH?

I can’t recall ever being asked for my views via a survey, for example.
