Celtsarehere spoke to Celtic B coach Darren O’Dea in an exclusive interview ahead of the Lowland League Glasgow Derby. The game is set to take place on Friday afternoon at Celtic Park, where supporters are encouraged to come along and cheer on the future Celts!
One future Celt we got our first competitive glimpse of this week is Rocco Vata. The midfielder was given game time in Celtic’s 4-0 victory over Hibernian at Easter Road.
Rocco has been knocking on the door for a while now, at just 17! The youngster has been training on and off with the first team and joined them earlier this year in Sydney.
At such a young age, Rocco is showing potential to be a future first-team star. Everything I’ve personally heard about the youngster from people who know him best say the same thing. He is so dedicated to not only becoming a great player but a great CELTIC player.
It’s why we had to ask about his progress when we got to speak to one of Rocco’s coaches.
Darren claims ‘exciting times’ lie ahead for the Hoops youngster.
