CELTIC have issued a short update on their gift voucher offering and when supporters can expect it through the post.

The club are now making the necessary arrangements to make sure every single season ticket holder from last season gets their voucher. The timeline for the voucher to drop through doors and will likely be on many doormats by the third week in June.

Celtic Website confirmed: “Further to last week’s supporter update, we’re keen to remind our 2020/21 Season Ticket holders that they will soon receive a £50 retail gift voucher.

“This is a thank you to our supporters in recognition of your phenomenal commitment to the Club during such a difficult year.

“The vouchers will be posted and should begin to land from Monday, June 21 with all of our 50,000+ Season Ticket holders expected to receive their vouchers by Wednesday, June 30.”

The voucher can be used on anything in the Celtic store and will also count towards new kits.

The club chose this route rather than issuing shared to supporters for their support over the last season. The Celtic Trust pushed for the move which would have seen the club not incur massive costs and faithful fans getting a stake in the club.

This was rejected and the £50 superstore offering was made. This will come in handy for families who regularly shell out for new kits and track suits in the Celtic store every year but there was never going to be a one size fits all solution.
