The new third kit is available for pre-order this Monday morning, the design itself dividing opinion among Celtic supporters.

It’s certainly different from anything we’ve seen in the past decade and perhaps more aesthetically pleasing than the dark pink effort by New Balance a few years back.

The kit will likely only get used a few times – third kits are used sparingly by most clubs and Celtic went an entire campaign recently without wearing their third kit in a competitive match.

As we say, Celtic fans have been debating this shirt online and whether it’s worth a purchase. Some are all in while others are most definitely out!

We’ve read a decent number of fans want to see this jersey without the Dafabet sponsor on it but we’ve got some disappointing news; there will be no sponsorless jersey for the third kit this year.

Usually, Celtic three kits will have a sponsorless option for adults, they don’t make them in large quantity but enough that most who want it can get one. This effort will not have that option and you’ll have to take it as it stands.

You can pre-order your 2021/22 Third Kit now at store.celticfc.net and in official Celtic Stores.

  1. Doesn’t matter to me if it’s laced with 24 carat gold, if there’s another company’s logo on it I don’t want it. No chance am I wandering around advertising some meaningless bookmaker or cider brand on my Celtic top. And they charge me for it too when they should instead be paying me for using my body as a billboard! Nah, keep yer sponsored pink shirt. P.s. pink is a girl’s colour and football is a man’s game. Just a thought.

    • FYI until Victorian times it was the opposite, with blue being for baby girls and pink for boys.
Doesn’t change the fact that it shouldn’t be anywhere near a Celtic strip!

  2. Had a similar one over twelve years ago and wore it at a training day in the stands. It had on it MEXICO 68 (still have it someplace as I bled on it) And cost me £0.50 from the bargain rail at Tkmaxx. So I purchased two.

  3. Very eye catching shirt, but what.s the point of a fekn silly pink stripe , thank the lord in 1888 only pink around was lipstick or Blackpool rock

  4. I think a sponsorless version would be popular with Celtic lhadies and ghirls, don’t mean this to be sexist but I think the Club are missing a good opportunity to aid funding stream by not issuing that option….
