CELTIC face stiff competition in their pursuit of Kevin Nisbet according to RecordSport.

The club has been linked with the Hibs striker in recent days but the Hoops aren’t the only one.

Scott Burns writes two Russian sides have entered the race for the Scottish international; Spartak Moscow and Krasnodar are considering making the Edinburgh side an offer.

Nisbet had a standout season for Hibs and was rewarded by a call up to the Scotland squad for the Euros. He made a cameo appearance but didn’t start a game for his country.

Kevin’s next move is going to be big and he has to make sure he makes the right call.

Another season at Hibernian wouldn’t do the player any harm but Hibs and Kevin might chase the money at this point and strike while the irons hot.

After the Euros, the striker was spotted hanging around with the Scottish/Celtic contingent in their downtime. The player is also reported to be a Celtic fan which could tip the scale in Celtic’s favour.
