We reported on Sunday Scott Sinclair had posted a training video of himself heading into Lennoxtown and training hard alone.

The midfielder has been frozen out of the first team this season and has yet to start a game for Neil Lennon this term. His cameo role against Motherwell back in August is the last time we saw the Celtic star.

With the window closed and the player going nowhere after a lot of speculation there’s hope there could be a reprieve for the Englishman. However, the inclusion of Mohamad Elyounoussi to the squad from Southampton makes that less likely.

After having 24 hours to think about the Instagram post, I believe this was Scott using social media to be positive and to send a subtle message to supporters and the manager.

Many players who aren’t playing or who have been unceremoniously dropped sometimes take to social media and voice their displeasure. Sinclair has done the opposite with the online platform and posted how har he’s working and the attitude he has towards trying to get back into the Celtic side. It’s 100% the right way to go about things.

Scott Sinclair has already cemented himself in the history of the club by playing a major role in the treble treble as well as being an invincible Celt. The winger is in the final year of his contract and right now it looks like his time at the club will come to a close either in January or next summer.
