His call-up to his national squad for the World Cup hasn’t been confirmed, but it’s expected he’ll jet to Qatar and compete in the competition. It’s a favourable group for the country, who’ll fancy their chances to progress into the next round. First and second qualify from the group, with Belgium, Morocco and Canada all competing for a spot in the next round.

First, he’ll have to compete on three different fronts for Celtic. As well as the league and Europe, the club will look to retain their League Cup.

Juranovic was in front of the media ahead of the side’s visit to Motherwell for a 6.15 pm kick-off in Lanarkshire on Wednesday. He said; [Celtic TV]

“We are excited because that’s the first trophy that we won last year. We want to continue that and bring it home. Tomorrow, the winning mentality has to be there.”

The Hoops have had an extra day to prepare for the encounter, with Motherwell playing on Sunday. Postecoglou will set his team up to win, likely to make some further changes from Saturday.

A win would see Celtic’s name in their draw for the semi-finals.
