The Celtic players have been bust enjoying their time off over the last week or so, apart from those involved in the Asia Cup, who are playing and training with their national sides.

The trip to Dubai comes as a refreshing interlude for players like Tony Ralston, Stephen Welsh, Matt O’Riley, and Paulo Bernardo. After a demanding first part of the season, this opportunity to unwind in the warmth and sunshine is seen as beneficial for their physical and mental rejuvenation.

The team’s recent success capped off with a victory over rivals Rangers and a tough away day to St Mirren, has significantly bolstered their standing with supporters.

Looking ahead, the team’s focus will soon shift back to their ambitions on the field. In a week’s time, the backdrop will change dramatically as Celtic prepares to host Buckie Thistle in Glasgow. It probably going to be a cold and wet one under the lights.

It’s a big match for the Hoops who are setting out to defend their cup.
