Christened by the likes of Messi, Xavi and Iniesta as “The Wall”, Celtic fans will be pleased to see their new number sixty-seven Fraser Foster return to the club. The shot-stopper has just been named at half-time on Celtic TV as Celtic’s third goalkeeper.

The big man is delighted to have signed and he told the club’s website:

“I’m absolutely delighted to be here, it feels like I’m coming home and I’m buzzing to be back at this great club. “Now, I just want to get back training and get back playing.”

“Obviously, I know what the number 67 means to this great club. It’s an honour to wear the shirt and an even bigger honour to wear this number.”

“I loved my time here before and I felt like it was the right number for me, I’m really proud to wear it, and I want to do my absolute best for this club.”

Celtic fans will be happy to see Fraser back at Paradise but nobody was looking for a new keeper at the start of this transfer window and fans are crying out for defenders to be signed. It is currently half-time at Celtic Park against AIK as the Hoops look to qualify for the Europa League.

Fans will be happy with what they have seen from their team in the first half. Lennon has drilled his players and they are back playing exciting attacking football but the score is 0-0.
