Celtic defender Christopher Jullien has provided the latest update on his progress from his current recovery from a serious knee injury.

In the final game of 2020, the French defender injured his knee in a collision with the goal post in an attempt to stop a shot from Marc McNulty going into the back of the net.

As he was stretched off, there was serious concern for Jullien after a season filled with injuries. It was later revealed that it could see him rules out until as late as September/October time next season.

His latest update appears to be a positive one though, as he revealed via his Instagram story that he has returned to working on grass, on the football field.

With the size of rebuild that the club has ahead this summer, our defensive options are already looking sparse in pre-season without Jullien.

So many will be hoping he can make a quicker recovery than was reported in the press, as we look ahead to crucial games in both European qualifiers and the beginning of the next league campaign.
