Celtic defender Christopher Jullien has provided fans with an update on his health after testing positive for COVID-19 last week.

Taking to his Instagram, the French defender confirmed he is feeling much better, whilst also thanking the support for all the good wishes he and his family received during the week.

Of course, it is brilliant to see that Jullien is on the mend again, as am sure everyone knows the effects that Covid-19 can have on people.

However, this whole situation was so avoidable and was arguably caused by the trip to Dubai. Due to the positive test, 13 players and three of the coaching staff were forced to self-isolate, likely from being in close contact with Jullien on the plane/bud journeys in the UAE.

This resulted in those players missing two games which saw Celtic drop four points after drawing 1-1 Hibs and 0-0 with Livingston yesterday.

It isn’t likely we will see the big defender involved for Celtic anytime soon, as he is currently out long term with a knee injury.
