CELTIC travel to Poland for matchday two of the Champions League, with Shakhtar Donetsk the opponents.
Celtic are looking to win the encounter to avoid the Ukrainian side opening a six-point lead over the Scottish Champions in group F. If that were to happen, Celtic’s chances of progression would be slim, with it likely being decided on had to head if Celtic win the return match against the sie and home and away to Leipzig.
It’s an important match for the Hoops, and Ange Postecoglou has gone with a strong team that he believes will secure the first win of the group for Celtic.
The team Postecoglou has selected is:
Hart, Taylor, Jenz, Kyogo, Haksabanovic, Jota, Carter-Vickers, O’Riley, Hatate, McGregor, Juranovic.

It’s a full debut for Haksabanovic, with Abada and Maeda missing out.
Carl Starfelt misses out with injury, with Moritz Jenz handed another chance to impress. It’s a big game for the defender, who’ll have to show a strong defensive performance to keep the opposition at bay.
Kyogo regains his place in the side after he stated on the bench against Real Madrid.
