CELTIC are back in SPFL action this week, after games were postponed last weekend due to the death of Queen Elizabeth.

The bhoys ravel to St Mirren after their midweek draw against Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League. Celtic currently have a 100% record in the SPFL, their last game coming against The Rangers where they picked up a 4-0 victory with ease.

This Celtic side also own a 9-0 victory over Dundee Utd this term and have been flying domestically.

St Mirren and Stephen Robinson will be set up to try and frustrate the Scottish Champions, but it’s easier said than done. The hoops have become specialists at breaking down a very low block. Ange has had no choice to find the players to unlock teams who simply didn’t want to play football.

The Celtic squad is relatively healthy and Ange has made sure there’s strength in depth. This is the final game before the international break and the manager has opted for a very strong side.

Celtic Starting XI

CCV missing from the squad entirely is a blow. Ange Postecgolou will likely let us know why the USA international has missed this game. Celtic have their two back up defenders in today. All things being equals CCV and Starfelt would start the match. Juranovic also missing from the matchday squad.

A first Celtic start for Mooy too who will occupy the holding midfielder role against his old side while Callum McGregor gets further forward.

Ange is using his squad today! The bench has some frightening game changers on it; O’Riley Jota, Giakoumakis, Hatate
