ANGE POSTECOGLOU has named his starting XI for Celtic’s Matchday three Champions League tie against RB Leipzig.

Celtic are in Germany on Wednesday evening and are hoping to get a win on the board in this group, but so are Leipzig.

The Hoops outplayed Shakhtar Donetsk on matchday two but only came away with a point in Poland due to very poor finishing.

There are a number of key injuries for Celtic in Germany. Their top centre-back Cameron Carter-Vickers has stayed home with an injury. Carl Starfelt has already been out for a period of time, and winger Liel Abada is out of the tie for religious reasons.

Aaron Mooy also hasn’t travelled, but he is a squad player at best.

So here is the team tasked with beating Leipzig on Tuesday evening:

It’s a big night for Stephen Welsh and Mortiz Jenz. The pair have had their critics as of late and they need to show they can fill in for the two main centre-backs at the highest level. Both teams are very attacking, so a clean sheet for either side feels unlikely.

Giakoumakis has fought back from injury to be on the bench.

The game kicks off at 5:45 pm UK time.
