CONNOR GOLDSON has replied to Shane Duffy’s Instagram post after the Irishman expressed his delight at his Celtic move.
Goldson, who has been at the other side of Glasgow for two seasons without a trophy jokingly asked if there was a cancellation clause in Shane’s contract.
Of course, the replies underneath exploded, such is social media. A bit of jovial banter between two rival sides and former Brighton teammates.
Duffy and Goldson will be heading up their respective defence in the coming months and only one can be the winner.
Celtic are chasing ten in a row, and the club have laid down a marker by bringing Shane in. The Irishman wanted the deal done at all costs when he heard Celtic were in for him, no other club had a chance. It’s the kind of player you want in your team during such an important season.
When the first Glasgow Derby of the season comes around, the two may trade blows in the penalty box for set pieces.
