Celtic’s forgotten man Daniel Arzani has played all of twelve minutes since joining Celtic well over a year ago. The winger tore his acl just minutes into his debut and has been rehabbing and getting for ever since.
We are now in September and have still not seen the Australian in action prompting fears he may be seen as an afterthought st this point. Especially because the player is only here on loan for the rest of the season.
However, Neil Lennon has confirmed the Man City man is on the cusp of being ready for a place in the squad!
“Daniel’s nearly fit.” Neil Lennon told SunSport. “He will get 40 minutes in that and needs match fitness before coming into the squad.”
Celtic have a lot of competition in Daniel’s position but there’s a reason why he became the youngest player of the World Cup last year. The winger could offer Celtic something different going forward but he’ll have to show something in training to earn the right to play. Marian Shved can’t even get into the squad right now.
