DAVID TURNBULL has admitted he and his teammates have been trying to stay off social due to their very poor form this season.

The Celtic midfielder revealed the players are trying to block out the negative stuff and also admitted confidence is at an all time low.

“All the boys have tried to stay off social media and tune out from that kind of stuff. Has confidence taken a battering? Yeah, I would say so. Personally it’s tough going into games at the moment.” Turnbull told SunSport.

“It’s hard to keep yourselves going when you are going behind and you know you need to get it back. But we must get that out of our heads. We need to keep pushing and make sure we play better, simple as that.”

Celtic can’t seem to put a run together at all.

There’s no cohesion in the team, defenders are all over the place and the manager continues to throw them under the bus.

It’s a horror show of a season for the whole club. The fans want to see the manager move on and someone interim put in charge until the club can find a suitable replacement.

The club have stuck by the Irishman and is the only manager in our modern day history to survive this run of results.

David and his teammates need picked up off the floor but it’s going to be difficult to do that under the current regime.
