CHARLY MUSONDA has said he’s excited at the prospect of linking up with Patrick Roberts at Celtic after playing against him so much in England.
Musonda and Roberts have played against each other several times for their respective parent clubs but now both could turn on the flare for Celtic once Patrick gets back to full fitness.
Speaking about Paddy, the new Celtic star spoke of his delight:
“We were rivals because we used to play all the time against one another in big games like the Youth Cup final. When I came here the first thing I did was to speak to him and say that I am happy and excited to play with you and he said the same thing that he is happy and can’t wait to play together.”
Patrick Roberts could be back next month for Celtic’s run in to the end of the season.
