Ewan Henderson, formerly of Celtic, is set to head out of Easter Road on loan, seeking more consistent first-team action.
The Hibernian midfielder will be plying his trade at K.V. Oostende for a year, marking another former Celtic player to make the move to the Belgian club. Notably, Jack Hendry and Osaze Urhoghide have both had loan spells at Oostende in the past, looking to clock in more minutes on the field.
K.V. Oostende confirmed the move on Twitter:

Henderson’s permanent transfer to Hibs materialised following an initial loan spell in the latter part of the 21/22 season. While the club’s then-manager, Shaun Maloney, acquired him in January, Maloney had vacated the role by summer.
Supporters are hopeful that Henderson will mirror the successes of Hendry and Urhoghide, either securing a fixed future elsewhere or returning to stake a claim at Hibs.
Once regarded as a promising talent, Henderson’s trajectory hasn’t quite aligned with the expectations set after Brendan Rodgers handed him his debut against Kilmarnock during Rodgers’ previous managerial term at Celtic.
