Youssouf Mulumbu has made the bold statement he believes his Celtic career isn’t over even though he has only made three appearances for the club before bind loaned back to his former side Kilmarnock.

Mulumbu grabbed man of the match against The Rangers at the weekend; playing well against his parent club’s city rivals.

While Mulumbu’s short term goal is to help Kilmarnock and Steve Clarke out this season, he has set his sights on another crack at the Celtic first team once this season is over.

Mulumbu will have a year left on his Celtic deal when he returns to the club but with so much competition and the midfielder admitting himself Ryan Christie’s emergence has made it even tougher for him to get into the side – he’s not finished yet.

“I’m here for six months to help Kilmarnock and if I do everything right and if we achieve something very good, I know I’ll be back at Celtic in the summer and everything can change from there.” Mulumbu Said Speaking to the Scotsman.

“In my head, it’s not over at Celtic. If you speak with Brendan and the lads, they know I want to go back and do great things for them.”

Mulumbu and Kilmarnock could yet join Celtic in the last 8 of the Scottish Cup after taking their game to a replay at Ibrox.
