There was quite a few Ex-Celts operating in the English Premier League this season and it was mixed fortunes for them on the last day.

Brendan Rodgers and his side threw away a massive advantage over Man Utd since January and missed out on Champions League football on the final day. Kieran Tierney got his first Arsenal goal in a 3-2 win over Watford to send the club back down to the Championship.

Artur Boruc suffered relegation with Bournemouth on Sunday despite a win for his club on the final day of the season. Aston Villa just needed a point against West Ham to secure their Premier League status and they managed it by the skin of their teeth in the end.

Boruc appeared pragmatic on social media, perhaps because he didn’t play a single minute of the season and couldn’t be held responsible for the relegation in any way.

Artur hasn’t announced his retirement yet and could finish his career back in Poland after leaving Bournemouth.
