Former Celtic duo and Neil Lennon signings Joe Ledley and Gary Hooper are sitting in October having been released in July still without a club.
During the summer there was social media chat of either coming in to boost Neil Lennon’s side but it turned out to be nothing more than gossip and wishful thinking on some people part.
Joe and Gary were both fantastic servants for Celtic during their time at the club. Ledley was sold to Crystal Palace with the player shocked when Celtic accepted a bid for his services. Gary Hooper left Celtic for Norwich to pursue the Premier League and try for an England call-up – he didn’t quite reach the heights.
Both have carved out a good post-Celtic career but were let go by their clubs this summer leaving them in no-mans land.
After flirting with a couple of clubs both are still not in a position to sign with anyone.
We hope to see them back in action in the near future.
