Spurs will ensure their spot in the top competition if they match or better the Arsenal result on Sunday.

The goalie, who departed Celtic for Southhampton in 2014, rejoined the Hoops on loan in 2019. He was given the opportunity to extend his stay at Celtic, but he chose to return to England and fight for a starting spot.

This season, the English keeper has played fifty per cent of his side’s games, playing nineteen times in the Premier League, keeping three clean sheets. With his contract expiring in the summer, Spurs hope to attract Forster to London on a free transfer.

If Celtic draws Spurs in the Champions League next season, Fraser Forster could face his former club, with Joe Hart and, hopefully, Cameron Carter-Vickers doing the same, but in reverse.
