CELTIC are going more global than ever with their new man Timo Weah in the team.
Since joining Celtic there has been a very notable rise in Celtic interest from the US on social media. Timo Weah is one of the most exciting US talents for the national side today and American ‘soccer’ fans are loving seeing what their bhoy can do in the green and white hoops.
Weah played his first full 90 minutes for the club against Hibernian on Wednesday night and was involved in a lot of the build-up play, his perfectly waited pass to Toljan who then squared it to Christie for the goal was fantastic.
The American fans are so enamoured with the attacker they are making videos of all his moments on the ball for Celtic with one fan account already putting together Weah’s exploits against Hibernian.
