JEREMY TOLJAN got his first Celtic start and first Celtic assist against Hibernian on Wednesday night as the player slotted it effortlessly to Brendan Rodgers set up.

The defender’s pace and range of passing were a delight to see. Jeremy found himself very high up the pitch for a lot of the game, something Brendan Rodgers demands his full-backs regularly do.

The player looked at home for the Bhoys, and it was his movement and final pass which lead to the club making the breakthrough.

His parent club Dortmund applauded their player on social media after the game, notifying their fans about Jeremy’s night in Paradise.

Celtic only have the right-back until the end of the season, but if the player continues to play as he did against Hibs, then the club might want to try and cut a deal with the Dortmund.

The German side bought Jeremy from Hoffenheim back in 2017 for around £6million and he’s not played for them at all this season. Could a reduced figure or something along those lines be enough to secure the right-back?

It’s early days! But let’s hope Jeremy kicks on for the rest of the season.

  1. One thing is for sure we need a right-back and Toljan would do if we could get him great, but we should still be on the look out for right and left backs and a new CH forward line looks strong midfield looks strong and Scott Bain is our number one for now,so bring in right and left backs and a new big Strong CH……

  2. Everyone’s a winner now. See how they all do, away from Paradise when they’re one or two goals down with fifteen minutes to go. In Europe or Scotland. Come’th the time, come’th the Bhoys.
