Celtic headed off the park at halftime with a 1-2 lead in the first leg of their Europa League third qualifying round against Jablonec.

Goals from new signings Abada and Furuhashi gave the Celts an early 0-2 lead before the home side struck back all within the first 15 minutes.

The Bhoys are looking to bring a lead back to a sold-out Celtic Park next week in Glasgow and James Forrest has just put the Hoops 3-1 up. The goal was needed as the home side had started to get a foothold in the game.

A failed Abada shot fell back into the path of Forrest who gladly slotted the ball home.

That should knock back any confidence Jablonec had gained in the second half. The truth is Celtic should be well out of sight. Forrest is playing on the left wing due to a shortage of players at the club and Ange Postecoglu will be hoping to strengthen the squad before the close of the transfer window.
