Celtic secured an unprecedented eighth treble on Saturday evening thanks to a dominative 3-1 win over Inverness Caley Thistle.

Ange Postecoglou’s men didn’t start off in the best manner although they soon improved as the game went on.

Kyogo broke the deadlock on 38 minutes before Liel Abada doubled the lead in the second half.

Although Dan Mackay got one back for the Caley Jags on the 84th minute, Jota cancelled it out and sealed victory for his side in stoppage time.

The final whistle sounded following this to catalyse some unforgettable scenes.

Players fell to their knees and fans hugged their loved ones meanwhile the Green Brigade revealed an iconic banner:

‘115 Trophies, Scotland’s Most Successful Club’ is written on the banner. It is a simple display of how prodigious a football club Celtic is that they have won over a century of trophies. It’s caused a stir online with rival fans.

This number will only continue to grow as the years go on for the dominant force in Scottish football who are a cut above the rest.
