The North Curve Celtic account has this afternoon taken a huge swipe at Dermot Desmond’s Q&A and hit back saying the majority shareholder is still disconnected from the club.

The group reposted the banner they displayed outside Celtic Park earlier this season when it depicted Neil Lennon, Peter Lawwell and Dermot on a zoom call with the fans connection lost.

Since that banner was displayed both Neil Lennon and Peter Lawwell have announced their departures.

Desmond came out yesterday with a contrived interview where he addressed some of the points Celtic fans were asking. However, there are huge swathes of questions unanswered and many fans see this as a well-managed publicity stunt which doesn’t say much at all.

Celtic are heading into a massive transition period where the club needs to show their hand or season ticket money will be hard to come by.

Desmond breaking cover in any sort of way is a big deal in itself but the transparency at the club and accountability of those in positions of power is still poor.

  1. Notice to the current group of Season ticket bearers. If they refused to pay their money, now that would get Dermo’s attention.
