The Green Brigade banner was again on show away in Europe despite the club banning the group from both home and away games.

Whether some Green Brigade members managed to get tickets or others have taken the banner as a show of solidarity isn’t clear.

The Green Brigade were outside Celtic Park on Saturday welcoming the team before heading to the supporters club on London Road. They managed to grab the attention of singer Rod Stewart who gave them a one finger salute heading into Celtic Park.

The club and the group have not come out with any new updates on their potential reinstatement.

We’re heading into a busy period which culminates with a game against The Rangers at Celtic Park. Will the group be back by then?

The crowd has been notably quiet during their absence. Understandable since the Green Brigade have been making the noise for years, a switch doesn’t just get flicked when they’re not there.

What is clear is this should come to an end one way or another in the coming weeks.
