Celtic posted some poignant images on Wednesday evening after Scott Brown played his final Celtic game at Celtic Park.

The skipper got 60 minutes and set up the second goal before being subbed off by John Kennedy – bringing the curtain down on his Celtic Park career.

There’s one more game to go but the next time we see Broony at Celtic Park, he’ll be wearing red.

The images Celtic put out last night were outstanding.

Scott Brown with his boots off sitting on the Parkhead turf. Doing the Broony in the centre circle one last time and what I think will be an iconic image – Scott walking down the tunnel.

It’s hitting home now we’re about to see a Celtic side and club without Scott Brown – something that’s not been the case in nearly a decade and a half. We were all a lot younger when this man first signed for the club back in 2007.

14 years, 22 trophies, 4 trebles. Thank you Broony!

  1. Captain fantastic, an unforgettable 14 years at Paradise. Hopefully he will return as Manager one day . A true club legend forever in our minds. Don’t see any current player fit to take over his role, possibly a fit Julien ?
