BOLI BOLINGOLI has undergone major rehab since sustaining an injury out on loan to Basaksehir earlier this season.

If you still follow the Belgian on social media, you will have seen the clips of his rehab and how hard Boli has been working.

In retrospect, even though Boli broke the rules, it has since been made apparent he was hung out to dry by the SPFL, SFA and the Scottish Government. More serious breaches of the rules around footballers and the pandemic have come to light to little indignation from any of the quarters who were screaming about Boli.

Celtic and Celtic fans were rightfully peeved that Boli decided to go into business for himself and do what he did. Hence why the left-back was sent out on loan.

But as he gets ready to return to the action and play a couple of games for his loan side before the end of the season, is there a genuine possibility Boli comes back into the fold under a new manager?

Is he better than Diego Laxalt? I’d say yes, with so much turnover expected, could he offer a viable alternative for any new boss coming into Celtic Park?

I’d again say, yes.

Should Boli be given a second chance?

  1. Just checked to see if its April the 1st.

    He’s a poor player.

He deserved punishment and criticism for his secret Spanish trip regardless of what happened or didnt happen to others later

As far as I’m aware he made no apology to Celtic or the wider Scottish public so no remorse was shown.

He has no future at Celtic
