It’s official.

Celtic will go for their tenth consecutive domestic trophy against Steven Gerrard’s men in December!

Both Glasgow clubs blew away their Edinburgh opposition this weekend to book their place in the final of the competition.

Celtic have already put out Glasgow club Partick Thistle in this year’s competition and will be relishing the thought of claiming another Glasgow scalp to win the competition for a fourth consecutive year.

This will be The Rangers second major final since the new club kicked off in 2012. They played Hibernian in the Scottish Cup final and were beaten in the last minute by a David Hay header.

The authorities both football and police along with the BT will now get together and decide on the day and time for this fixture. It will be the weekend of the 7/8th December but nothing has been agreed at this moment.

The tickets will be gold dust and will 100% go to a ballot with both sides occupying half of Hampden.
